Wedding Showcase Vendor Form

  • Setup begins at 9:00am
  • Only one (1) vendor per booth.
  • The selling/distribution of alcoholic beverages is not permitted.
  • All vendors participating as “Regular Vendor” will be responsible for providing their own 6 foot table and chairs.
  • Vendor may NOT tape or affix merchandise or promotional items to the walls or any fixtures of the Maryland Theatre or Performing Arts Center.
  • The Maryland Theatre is not responsible for loss or accidents.
  • Any vendor distributing food samples will be responsible for obtaining a temporary food service permit from the health department and returning it with this application.
  • All vendors must submit a certificate of insurance with this application naming The Maryland Theatre (21 S Potomac Street) as additional insured and listing the event date and title.

Parking – Vendors are responsible for covering their own parking expenses and are not allowed to leave vehicles for an extended period in a loading/unloading zone.  The vendor agrees to follow all parking instructions by the Hagerstown Police or other designated Theatre employees.

Load In/Load Out - The vendor agrees to abide by the arrival and departure times stipulated by
Theatre staff.  Failure to comply with the move-out deadline means the Theatre will store the caterer’s effects at a storage fee of $500.00 per day for the following day or any part of a day.  For auditorium events, vendor may unload/load at the rear of the Theatre.  For Performing Arts Center event spaces, vendor may unload/load along the front of the building on South Potomac Street (use of elevator #2 is requested, however, vendors may be required to use stairs when elevators are in use by attendees).  Vendor shall not obstruct the sidewalk in front of, or the halls and stairs of said premises, including loading areas and all exterior fire exits from the building, nor allow the same to be obstructed or encumbered in any manner other than during load in/load out.

Hold Harmless Agreement - The Maryland Theatre

The Lessee/User agrees that is shall indemnify The Maryland Theatre and hold The Maryland Theatre harmless against any and all fines, suits, claims, demands, expenses, actions, losses, alleged losses, or liabilities of whatsoever nature or kind incurred either directly either in law or equity, paid, suffered or incurred as a result of the acts, activities, or omissions of the Lessee/User, its agents, servants, or employees, due to the operation and use of the premises. It is further agreed that the Lessee/User shall in addition to holding The Maryland Theatre harmless from any and all liabilities or damage or injury to both person and property, occurring as a result of the use of said premises, shall defend The Maryland Theatre Lessee’s/User’s expense against any and all claims, suits, demands, of whatsoever nature or kind.
